This page is devoted to the performance figures of this website.

The new website shaldon-devon.co.uk went live August 2012. We have produced figures below from Google Analytics, widely recognised as the best and most widely used web traffic analysis package available.

Many sites do not publish their stats, which is the only metric by which success can be measured for a website especially when paid advertising is involved.  If in doubt please ask for more information and results and the tracking system used as some packages, such as AWSTATS (which we also use, but do not refer to) can escalate traffic by over 100%.  "Hits" are not published as they provide no real information. This website has hundreds of thousands of "hits" but the important metrics are noted below.

This is the traffic for the quietest parts of the year and  was close to expectations with visits and page views remaining healthy for the sites number on positions.  The holiday period is starting in earnest and traffic is expected to rise significantly through the holiday period.
