Hygge House is an impressive, architecturally designed & stylishly furnished two bed holiday home in the delightful village of Shaldon.
The Danish word Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) defies literal translation ~ "cosiness” being the closest translation ~ a feeling of calm, togetherness & enjoyment of simple pleasures.

Shaldon is an unspoilt Georgian village on the South Devon coast, found opposite the seaside resort of Teignmouth. There is a great range of local shops & attractions including several very good waterside pubs, cafés & restaurants.
Beaches
· The beaches in the area are ideal for swimming, sailing, rowing, paddling & rock pool exploring.
· From Shaldon beach, a foot ferry will take you across to explore Teignmouth.

· Shaldon Wildlife Centre - a small zoo dedicated to conservation
· Shaldon Approach Golf Course
· Walk the South West Coastal Path, taking in the spectacular views
· Newton Abbey and Exeter race course
