The Shipwright’s Arms is a traditional Devonshire village pub, with an unusual extra – a Thai Restaurant! Tony and Christina Cardwell originally set up The Pure Thai Company, importing hand-carved wooden animals, ornaments and furniture. This led on to buying the Shipwright’s Arms and setting up a Thai Restaurant.
At the Thai Room you will find authentic Thai cuisine ranging from simple set meals to extravagant banquets. All meals are freshly cooked, which allows for most dietary needs to be accommodated. The food is prepared and served by our Thai staff.
Shipwright’s Arms opens normal pub hours ( Closed Monday lunchtime ), serving not just local beers, but also beers from around the world.
The Thai Room is open every evening except Monday, and lunch-times Thursday – Sunday.
