Teignmouth boasts a long sandy beach with amazing views out to sea in all directions. The jurassic Coastline starts to the East, and in a Westerly direction, the red cliff coast line starting with The Ness Shaldon, along to Torbay and further to Berry Head.
The beach is a mixture of sand and shingle, which slopes gently towards the sea, with the sand bars changing shape on a daily basis.
